Do your kids enjoy playing with big toys, but do you hate to pay big prices? The Middletown Swap Shack is featuring a Big Wheel and dollhouse that are absolutely free. The Swap Shack is located at the Middletown Recycling Center, at the corner of Johnson and North Main streets. to noon. Sunday at the school, 75 Oliver St. The show benefits the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford. General admission is $2, and $1 for senior citizens. Children younger than 12 get in free. Vehicle registration is $5 and includes one driver and one passenger. In the event of rain, the show will be postponed and turned into a cruise night. to noon. Residents will be able to renew or get a resident’s pass at the center upon presentation of the vehicle registration. It has an 18 by 35 inch surface and is recommended for individuals over age 8. The size is perfect to fit into a playroom or other living area. The Pool Table is available for free at the Middletown Swap Shack. These cassette tapes are in excellent condition. The “Beauty and the Beast” tape contains the popular “Be Our Guest” song. The “Barney” tape includes several children’s songs to sing along with and the “Pocahontas” tape includes an English and Spanish version of the hit song “Colors of the Wind.”
Lions and tigers and bears! Oh my! Find them all at the Middletown Swap Shack this week. The stuffed animals have been delivered and are waiting for new homes with little ones. Monkeys, dinosaurs, rabbits, bears and alligators are available for adoption. All animals are housebroken and require minimal amounts of pretend food. They do require lots of hugs and kisses and some cuddling.
