timberland manchester barefoot woman asks deputy for his shoes after ditching car
A 54 year old Panama City Beach woman who left her Pontiac stuck in a ditch in the early hours of Sept. 10 asked a Bay County Sheriff Office deputy if he would give her his shoes. When he said no, she asked him to carry her instead.
smell was so strong I could smell it from over three feet away, the deputy noted in his report. The woman told him she was not injured, and he asked her what happened. looked at me, shrugged her shoulders and made a sound. admitted she was driving the car and told the deputy that she was at the complex to pick up a friend two doors down. He explained to her that she was in an industrial area full of closed businesses. asked me several times if she could wear my shoes,
the deputy reported. also asked if I could carry her. Florida Highway Patrol trooper responded to the scene, conducted a traffic investigation and a field sobriety test. However, the woman was too drunk to complete any of the tests. When she was arrested, she asked to be let go and asked the officers to take her home.
She also claimed to have left her ex husband small grandchild home alone, which the deputy determined to be untrue.
